  • Do I need experience?
    No - we actually prefer that you have NO EXPERIENCE in our industry. We will train you in all aspects of our business.

  • What type of franchise is available?
    AMERICAN PROSPERITY GROUP (APG) offers you the opportunity to operate a premier state-of-the-art APG FRANCHISE offering Estate Planning and Retirement Planning Services.

  • How much does the franchise cost?
    The APG Franchise Fee is $50,000. Your total start-up cost can range from $70,000 to $96,000, including the Franchisee Fee. This range includes office lease/set-up/equipment, marketing expenses, licenses and other miscellaneous expenses for the first year of business.   • How much is the "royalty fee"?
    The APG "royalty fee" is determined on a graduated scale, based upon cumulative production. Please read the APG FDD for complete fee schedule.

  • Will I have an exclusive territory?
    APG does not grant you an exclusive geographic territory because we do not want to hinder your business reach; however, we do protect "marketing areas" where a Franchise is productively producing. Please read the APG FDD for complete details.

  • What about marketing and advertising?
    The APG name and reputation is an important part of your business. You are to hold a minimum of $15,000 in reserve (included in the start-up cost listed above) to cover the marketing and advertising costs of your first two workshops with APG. Other than your minimum quarterly workshop advertising, no other advertising fees are required during your first $250,000 in revenue; thereafter, the advertising fee is 1% of gross revenues annually.

  • How much training is provided in the APG system?
    Each APG Franchisee will participate in an initial training course at APG Corporate Offices that will entail approximately 4 weeks but not necessarily 4 consecutive weeks. The initial program will focus on all aspects of the APG franchise system and is comprised of classroom training. You will be provided a confidential and comprehensive APG TRAINING MANUAL and APG OPERATIONS MANUAL. In addition, field training will continue at your specific APG Franchise office.

  • What form of business start-up assistance and ongoing support will I receive?
    APG will periodically schedule visits throughout the course of the franchise term, which are designed to provide operations assistance and guidance in various aspects of your APG Franchise. Your APG Confidential Operations Manual contains specifications, standards, operating procedures and suggestions to guide you in the operation of your APG Franchise. Training will be constant and advanced training classes will be available at APG Corporate Offices and on-line through APG PLUS! - our customized and proprietary Intranet System.

  • What is the term of the APG Franchise Agreement?
    The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is 15 years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.

  • What is my next step?
    Print and complete the confidential APG PRELIMINARY INFORMATION FORM listed below and return it to us by FAX (973.831.6384). If, after reviewing your qualifications, our review committee feels you have the potential to be awarded an APG Franchise, you will be invited into a teleconference to help answer both yours and our questions during an initial interview. Upon a successful completion of that interview, you will be invited to meet with us in person at the APG Corporate Offices.
